A charitable kite-flying experience
On 15th Jan 2011, we brought the boys to Kepong Park to fly some kites, which we got from a charity drive for breast cancer. Well we first thought, how difficult can kite-flying be..right?..Wrong! Firstly, we weren't sure how to tie the kite to the strings supplied..*paiseh* Then, we tried endlessly to fly it..but to no avail. The kite never flew higher than 6ft!! "Isaac seen here helping pa-pa launch the kite into the sky..hehe..fail also" Finally, we broke the first kite, got out the 2nd kite & still could not fly it. We eventually sat down to admire those 'high-flying' kites & got marveled at how a young 10 year old boy could do it & not us!
