Our New World

Malaysia was on full LOCKDOWN since 18th March 2020 - the govt coined it as Movement Control Order (MCO). This was such a shocking news to all of us; we did not know what to do. But having read the news of coronavirus pandemic which first started in Wuhan, China during CNY season, where the province was on full lockdown; we kinda learnt very quickly that it also meant FULL ON HOUSE ARREST!! Everything from schools, shops, offices and all public places were closed. Only essential industry which supplies food & drinks are allowed to operate, as well as the broadcasting/media industry that provides News & Updates to Malaysians. And everyone MUST MUST MUST stay home to stop the covid-19 virus from spreading further in Malaysia. I won't bore you with news after news on the covid-19 development etc in Malaysia - those are easily available on all News portal. In 2020, we brought all the boys to our very first Club Med trip :) We had so much fun driving to Cherating in Sze Weng's new Subaru Forester.  And upon arrival at Club Med, we enjoyed their warm welcome and fast check-in service. As always, there were loads of activities to keep all of us very active & very busy as well as loads of yummy food to keep us filled throughout the day.  Ian had "special treatment" as he was checked-in to the "Junior Club Med" group with many activities catered to his age (he was 8 at that time) and he got to make many new friends and had so much fun together with them. The 'teachers' in the Junior Club Med team were all very friendly & helpful. We had so much fun during our 3D 2N in Club Med, Cherating and will definitely return... soon...! *****
