Counting the many blessings of God - Project 47 is a MEGA one indeed!

This is a loooooooooooooong overdue posting on our blog. Well didn't quite get around to doing it since Project 47 was completely in Sept 2011. We have been very busy with our new jobs amongst many other things & excuses :p A quick recap of Project 47... We broke the ground on 1st July 2011, where the main contractor 'Ah Chong' got his staff to remove the old kitchen cabinets to facilitate termite treatment for the whole house. A week before that, we got another contractor to replace all the roof tiles - this contractor 'Leong' was appointed by my mum but paid by us! The roof tiles needed to be replaced due to bad leaks when heavy rainstorm comes. Work continued on from July till early Sept 2011.. we revamped the ENTIRE ground floor from the car porch area right to the back of the house. Changed everything from floor & wall tiles to grilles & door frames. The whole house got a fresh coat of paint & a modern uplift. We adopted a minimalistic modern & contemporary design - well in short, minimalist means less furniture which also means less $$ to be spent... *ngek ngek* Pictures speak louder than words...here are the before & after pictures : As you can see, much work has been done to this 32-year old house. We are very very happy & satisfied with the renovations despite some hiccups & frustrations here and there. It was all completely within time frame set. We enjoy the new modernized house very very much & can't stop thanking God every single day for His over-abundant blessings in giving us much more than we asked & expected from Project 47! Praise Him Praise Him...!
